Mary Harrigan (she/her) is an emerging writer based in Maryland. When not thinking of new ways to sneak dragons into literary stories, she is busy snuggling with her puppy, or drinking coffee. Probably both. You can find her on Twitter or Instagram as @mwritesdragons.
She specializes in writing speculative fiction, both long form and short form, with a focus on science fiction and fantasy. Current works in progress can be found here. Her flash fiction has been published in RuneBear’s Spring 2020 Quarterly, and she placed first in the Baltimore Science Fiction Society’s 2020 Amateur Writing Contest with “The Dragon Who Refused to Fly”. This story was then published in Balticon 55‘s souvenir booklet, The BSFAN.
